Recycled Polyester

Nearly 50% percent of the world’s clothing is made of Polyester and will double by the year of 2030. To reduce the impacts of climate change, making recycled polyester garments gives a second life to polyester material that’s not biodegradable and would otherwise end up in landfills or worse, the ocean.

ZODA’s new activewear T-shirt fabric is made out of 70% Recycled polyester, obtained by melting down the existing plastic bottles and respinning it into new polyester fibre.

COzTERRA

Between the year of 2000 and 2020, the earth’s emission increased more than quadrupled from the previous decade. The gas primarily responsible for the greenhouse effect is Carbon Dioxide, and experts predict that if our greenhouse gases continue to increase as they have done over the last half-century, our world will be 4°C warmer than before the Industrial Revolution by 2099.

For the ZODA Ultra Premium tank top, we worked closely with Xinterra and applied innovative COzTERRA auxiliaries which enables our 95% Cotton 5% Spandex blended jersey to remove CO2 from the air. After wearing it and washing after exercising, regular detergent can sequester CO2, forming harmless minerals to be washed away.
